LABOUR TROUBLES.
TIMBER STRIKE IN NEW
SOUTH WALES.
(Press Association. — Copyiuchi.)
SYDNEY, Wednesday. There is a general' strike of timber yard hands., and to-day 2000 are idle. About 13 timber vessels are unable to .discharge.
The wheelers at the Dudley colliery have again ceased work, and the miners have refused to 80 the wheeling themselves. It is likely that the contempt to which the Court has been subjected by a section of the employees will cause the President to reconsider his positoin.
