SUBURBAN NORTH.
ROAD BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Suburban North Road Board was held on Friday, the members present being Messrs W. Gill (Chairman), A. Dodson, A. G. Dencker, E. G. Westley, and T. W. Anderson.
Accounts amounting to £18 8s were passed for payment. The Overseer's report was read. He recommended that some gravelling be done on the Wangamoa road before winter sets in.
A notice was received from the Inspector of Noxious Weeds re noxious weeds on lands between road and river in Happy Valley. A memorandum was received from the Department of Lands Te payment of £2 17s, accrued thirds, into the bank to the Board's credit.
It was decided to clear noxious weeds between the triver and road in Happy Valley. The clerk was instructed to write to the Minister of Pubic Works and to the Commissioner of Crown Lands regarding the expenditure of the £lsuU grant for the bridge road, Wangamoa to Onete.i, granted in July, 1904.
