Mr Sidney Fisher, Canadian Minispv of Acriculture, at a meeting of stock raisers at Ottawa, did not favour the provision of cold storage facilities at Liverpool. He was convinced that Canada was not in a position to conduct a meat trade with Great Britain, inasmuch at it had insufficient cattle to maintain a steady supply.
