WELSH DISESTABLISHMENT. THE SECULAR EDUCATION PROBLEM. (Received Oct. 4, 8.35 a.m.) LONDON, Thursday. Mr Lloyd George, President of the Board of Trade, interviewed, said the Government would early deal effectively with Welsh Disestablishment, unless the Peers precipitated an appeal to the country on the constitutional issue. The" Bishop of Manchester, speaking at the Church Congress at Yarmouth, argued that the country did not desire secular education.
