BREACHES OF AWARD IN SOUTHLAND. [United Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, Wednes. At tjje Arbitration Court to-day a number of breaches of awards were dealt with. John and Margaret Andrews, bakers, were fined £2 for not paying overtime. AVilliam Pope, baker, for employing a. foreman and a second hand at less than the minimum wage, was fined £5. Dunn and Mail, tha em--pioyees referred to in the last case, were fined £1 each. George Mackie* sawmiller, Stewart Island, was fined £10, roverin gtwo charges, of paying less i!>nn the minimum wage, and £5, covering several charges of not paying wanes before Bth of the month. Carl Boumast was fined £5 for employing two apprentices and no journeywoman.
