THROUGH NIGHT SERVICE
INVERCARGILL, Friday. The Acting-Minister for Railways in reply to the Chamber of Commerce, says a through night service between Dunedin and Christchurch at present is not practicable. When through connection is established between Wellington and Auckland the proposal will then be considered in connection with a through service from South to North.
