CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. ■ Felix: Tanner's; "ark" left Sumner on Tuesday of last week for Timaru, and "since then no word has been received as to the whereabouts: of the party on board, which included Tanner himself, two ,Christchurih young men named Hudson and C. Davis, two from Wellington named J. Dean and W.. Wilson, and a. new arrival from the Old Country named Albert Edwards, who wenfcas cook! '"".. It is understood that provisions for only three days were taken, and/as the vessel has apparently now been out 'for eight days much anxiety is felt. for the safety of the voyagers. When ; the "ark" left' Sumner a fair wind was! prevailing, which' should' have carried her down to Timaru well within 24 hours. \
