DEATH BY SUFFOCATION.
DUNEDIN, Tuesday. At the inquest touching the death of the infant child of G. P. Campbell, Dr Evans gave as the result of the post I mortem examination his opinion that ! death was due to suffocation, probably caused- through sleeping in the same bed with the mother. The jury returned a verdict of death by suffocation, ' the evidence being insufficient to show how caused.
