FATALITIES.
AUCKLAND, Monday,
A terrible tram fatality occurred in the city to-night, the victim being Harry Elder, a man of about 40 yews of age. He was a painter, and resided at Freeman's Bay. It is believed that he was a passenger by the tram car which ran over him, and that he got off at the corner of Victoria and Nelsonstreets, where the accident occurred.
