PROMOTION OF A RIGA PERSECUTOR.
A WARNING TO THE JEWS. (Received April 25, 8.42 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, Wednes. Gregus, the chief culprit connected with the Riga horrors, has been promoted to a high post in the political police of St. Petersburg. M. Stolypin, Premier, has ordered the Governors in the Jewish zones to issue proclamations warning the people against the programmes of May sth, announcing that troops would rigorously suppress any disturbance.
