RATEPAYERS' MEETING.
A meeting of ratepayers has been convened by the Wakefield Branch of the Farmers' Union for to-morrow evening, at the Oddfelows' Hall. All ratepayers and employers of labour should endeavour to be present, as matters affecting their interests are to be discussed. Should the meeting he as representative as it ought to bo, the result will doubtlesG be of material benefit. .Farmers are generally prone to leave matters that they should all be personally interested in, to the "other fellow" to look after, but n this occarion it is hoped that all will consider it to be their own particular business, and make an effort to be there.
