BLENHEIM EGG-LAVING COMPETITION.
BLENHEIM, Saturday. Tho results of the 49th week of the egg-laying competition wore 705 eggs for last week ,the grand total being 96,650. The highest for the week wero the Brow Poultry Farm 24, Sowman 22, Freeth 22, all Silver Wyandottes. Tho leading pens to date are : Brooks 1381, A. and P. Association 1268, Servejean 1220, Thomson 1188, Marlborough Hotel 1160, and Miss Hodson 115?— all are White Leghorns.
