A YOUfIG WOMAN TAKES THE PULPIT. - 'J - [United Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON, Monday. Aa extraordinary scene ocoarre J in a Petone Church last evening. A young woiian, a member of tbe congregation, entered church before the service began and ascended the pulpit*. Bhe stood with bowed head for some minutes, and then commenced to address tbe congregation. Her explanation of har presence was tbat she had received a command from God tbe previous evening to go into that chnrch and deliver a me.-sage to the people. She had not proceeded far when the clergyman entered, to find the I pulpit occupied. The young woman objected to be interfered with until sbe had delivered her message. Ultimately the father of the young woman prevailed npoa her to le. ye.
