THE MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
TIIE MAYORALTY. Mr J. Piper, a candidate for the Mayoralty, will address the electors at tho Theatre this evening, and announces that he will reply to criticisms and unfold a policy. Mr G. M. Rout will preside. Mr C. J. Harley's Mayoral Election Committee will meet at 7.30 this evening, when all supporters are invited to be present. To-morrow evening at 7.30 a mass meeting of ratepayers will be held at the Theatre, when Crs. Atmore, Hampson, Harrison, Hounsell, and Pettit wil) be amongst the speakers.
