LABOUR MATTERS.
To the Editor. Sir, — A few more lines on this union trouble. I quite agree awith -friendly unionism. The said Labour Council is not a friendly one, to my way of thinking. Why do we want a Labour Union here, when we can always refer oui grievances to the Inspector of Factoiieand who is willing and agreeable tc see that they are put right V Why noi have the hours of labour and pay pei hour arranged for by the House of Par liament? Which I believe could b. done through our member? Hopin*. some mine abler pen will take tliii matter up, as this is my last reply and thanking you for spa*.*e. I am, etc., J. D. NORRIS.
