BUROLARY NEAR BLENHEIM.
WELLINGTON, Thurs\ ' A prisoner from Blenheim named Andrew Maher was to-day sentenced to two years' imprisonment on a charge of burglary by Mr Justice Cooper. Maher is a labourer, horsebreaker, and late of Christchurch, aged 42, and addicted to drink. While travelling as a swagsman he entered a station house at Paukawa, 60 miles from Blenheim, and when inside drank half a bottle of whisky and stole a number of articles.
