A BUILDING SOCIETY'S TROUBLES.
T , NAPIER. Sunday. ' Judgment was given on Taturday for the defendant society in the civil action against the Napier Starr-Bowkett Building, Society, heard at the last session of the Supreme Court at Napier. Tho claim was for £111 1 5 j n respect to a share held by the plaintiff and sold by the Society's late secretary. The Court held that the secretary had sold the shares in his capacity as a sharebroker, and not acting on behalf of the Society. i . » *,
