RAILWAY ACCIDENT IN CANADA.
TERRIBLE SCENES AND HEROIC RESCUES. - iUmiBD Press Association. — OopiEiOHT.I LONDON, Sunday. The victims of the Chapelau railway disaster were immigrants under the auspices of the Salvationists. Many were pinned under the burning mass. Several passengers entered the blazing cars and reached numerous persons. Mr James Gibson, late of the 12th Lancers, who .is settling in the west, bunged into a burning car with a handkerchief over his face and rescued a woman who was •pinned <under a seat, but the woman on ; ais<»yer__g ; thai her baby was missing :rnshed;-back into the car and perished.
