ATTITUDE OF THE LAEOUR
PARTY

A t the Federal Labour Party s caucus Mr Watson and Mr were reolectsd leaders in the House and the Senate respectively. An important section of the party is favourable to a coalition, and also urges that the party is now strong enough to take some share in the Government It was made, dear however, that tho party would not coalesce with Mr G. H. Reid, the Leader of the Oppo*. Bition. The prime essential in the party's programme will be the passage of the Arbitration Bill. That must includa, if not all Civil Servants, at least all the railway servants. If Mr Deakin (Premier) persists in his opposition to this provision the Labour Party wil vote against him.
