INCENDIARISM AT AUCKLAND.
AUCKLAND, This Day. At the Supreme Court to-day, Da<dd Somsmerville, an ex employee, was changed with attempting to burn the premises of John Reid <© Co., and with the theft £3. He pleaded guilty to arson and the charge of theft was withdrawn. Mr John Reid said that there had been a great deal of robhery of stock and money going on in the business, tout he was unable to say by whom. Mr Justice Conolly reserved judgment until another accused person y« om he would not name, had been tried.
