Lieutenant Chichester, Q f the Somali Mounted*, was alsu killed in the action It is believed that 10.C30 of the Mullab's followers attacked Capt. Plunketr. Col. Cobbe had advanced towards Gam^ ounu, and is encapnied with plenty o f«wd and four daW water, but be is now unable to withdraw, the thick scrub favoring the enemy.
