PATRIOTIC AND MORE MEN FUNDS. IN NELSON.
Ihe following additional subscriptions to the "More Men" Fund have been received at the Town Clerk's office:— R. Lucas and Son £j, W. A. Roughton £2 2s. We have to acknowledge receipt of the following towards the "More Men" Fund: " Patriot" (Motueka) jEI. Messrs Wilkins and Field and A. T. Maginnity (each £5 ss), Drs. Hudson, Roberts, and Andrew £0 Us, Thos Raine £1 Is, and Mr AVing £1 have agreed to divert their subscriptions from the Patriotic to the " More Men " Fund. The following additional donations to the Patriotic Fund have been received :— C. Anderson and Mrs C. Anderson 2s 6d each.
