AN EASY VICTORY. SYDNEY, This Day The Admiral of the Australian Squadron, who leaves at the end of the month with H.M.S. Boyal Arthur on a visit to New Zealand, aud who was formerly on the American station, in tho course of an interview, expressed the opinion that America should triumph easily. The nation had monoy, resources, and plenty of go, while Spain has neither. The conflict should not be of long duration. America wouldwithout doubt immediately invade Cuba, and once that is accomplish, ed what could Spain hope, for ? • Inferring to the fact that neither ■ conntry is a party to the treaty of Paris, the Admiral said they would probably have to witness another series of Alabama oxploits.
