FIRES AT WELLINGTON.

[United Press Association.] "WELLINGTON, November 7 Two fires occurred within half an hour of each other shortly before midnight. The first was in Bomb's printing establishment in Featherston-streot, but the flames wero subdued before much damage ~Ct done. The building, wbich is owned by Mr Routh, is injured in tbe London and Liverpool, and Globe and Victoria, for £600, and it was damaged to the extent of .£3O, while the stock, which is insured for iUOO in the same ofiice.*-, buffered to a like eitcnt. llr S. Wright's bicycle depot, adjoining, «a.i slightly damaged, but the machines are all covered by policy for JE4OO in the Manchester office. The second fire resulted in the almost total destruction of Cable's old flour mill, opposite tho Fire Brigade station, in Manners-street. The building, which is owned by Mr T. G. Macarthy, was uninsured. Part of the building was used Ly Messrs Olivecrona, McDonald „ Co. as a storeroom, but its contents were very small, and were covered by a policy in the North Queensland office.
