THE RELAY CYCLE RIDE.
CHRISTCHURCH. November ti. The relay from the Bluff to Chri.tchtirch finished at 3.:! _ p.m. to-day, about 400 miles having been done iv 21 hours 23 minutes. The message to tho Governor was signed by Mayors of tho towns through which the riders passed — C'ampbelltoirn, InvercargiU, Mataura, Gore, Balclutba, Milton, Dunedin, Palmerston, Hampden, Oamaru, Timaru, Geraldine, and Ashburton. The last stage, from Kolleaton to Christchurch, was taken by T. Clarkson aud E. Archer. Areher'B tyrepunctured, and Clarkbon arrived with the message at the Cycle Show at 3._5 and ho then headed the procession of cyclists to the Governor's residence.
