[ linited Press Association.] _ NEW YORK, November 6. Alarming rumours are current here with reference to a probable war between America and Spain over the Cuban rebellion. They are having a depressing effect on the Stock Exchange. b At a meeting of the New York Chamber of Commerco, a resolution wa s carried, demanding an increase of the Coast defences. This increased the depression of prices in Wall Street, ihe depreciation in the value of stocks totalling 25,000.000 dollars. f__j November 7. I Prices of stocks in Wall Street have recovered.
