[United Press Association.] Westpobt, This Day. The Westpnrt Company is resuming work towards developing the Granity Creel? mine,'' and tenders are invited for three contracts for incline tunnelling, &c, which will give employment to soventy men for six months. The Harbour Board hag agreed to placo £15,744 to tho credit of the Publio Account for the purchase of the Mokihinui Coal Company's branch line of railway.
