The Waverley arrived at Motueka from Westport this morning, but being late on the tide was compelled to anchor outside. She will get alongside the wharf on tonight's tide, md is expected to return to Westport to-morrow. The Murray is detained at Foxton by a westerly gale and a heavy sea on the bar. The Kennedy is detained at Westport, awaiting an improvement in the weather before proceeding to Greymouth. The Charles Edward sailed for Greymouth yesterday, and on arrival there will proceed to Foxton direct The Penguin arrived from Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton at 630 this morning and sails at 7 o'clock to-night on the return South. The Grafton js detained at Greymouth hy a heavy sea on the bar. She expects to get out to-night, and will leave here at 8 a.m. on Thursday for Wellington direct. The Wainui leaves Wellington at 1 pm. to-morrow, will arrive here on Thursday morning, and sail at 9 a.m. for Greymouth direct. „„. x The Kotorua will arrive from Wellington and South on Thursday morning, and sail at 10 a. m. for Picton, Wellington and Lyttelton. The Mawhera arrived from Wellington this morning, and sailed at 8 a.m. for the West Coast. The Mahinapua sailed for Taranaki and Manukau at 5 pmi yesterday, and reached, the former port at 11 a.m to-day. She proceeds to Manukau at 10 30 to-night. Tho Lady Barkly left for Golden Bay, last night, and returns here to-morrow afternoon. The Elsie makes a trip to Motueka tomorrow, leaving here at 3 "30 p.m.
