Cbbistohuboh, This Day. Mr Alfred Saunders, M.H.R. for Selwyn, addreesed his constituents at Springton last evening. He deßoribed the new Members, new Government, and new Opposition. He oon-
demned the Finanoial Polioy of the Govern^ ment, and the Payment of members Bill, but supported Mr McKaozie's Land Bill, and the Land and Income Tax. He said that he was prepared to give the, Government 1 an lode-pendent-flupport. • He blamed«the' Opposition % for ever having appointed Mr Bryce as leader and said. Ifc was extremely unlikely that the present leader of the wouid ever succeed the Premier. He received * Vot6 of thanks and confidence. . yy
