Opening of the South Australian Parliament.
Adelaide, j une 6. At the opening of Parliament the speech from the Throne stated that the year's estimates had been fully realised, and there was a satisfactory surplus. The Government intend to introduce Bills providing for a progressive tax on the UDitnproved value of land; for the remission of the duties on tea, coffee, cocoa, and kerosene, and the reduction of the sugar duty. A measure dealing wibh local option is also promised.
