COLLEGE V. ATHLETICS.
match, which was played on two Saturday afternoons, was won by the Athletics after a pleasant and interesting game. For the winners Green, Harkness, Bolton and Cooke secured the batting honors, fuad played well for their runs against some tery respectable bowling and fielding, while the latter pair wer» not lpss successful with the ball, Bolton indeed doing the "hattribk"intheseo»nd innings. The College batting was distintly limp, with the except tion of Neve and Ford, the hitter of whom earned his bat through the innings. Horton atoned for his failure with the bat by making two excellent catohes, and the piece ef fielding by E. F. Cooke that ran out Curtis was a "caution." It will be seen that Broad secured 10 wickets; he has cer« tainly the making of a very promising howler. At the end of the fourth innings the Athletics were in a majority of eighteen runs. Athletics.
