POULTRY, BIRD, AND DOG SHOW.
A large number it tended a meeting 1 whioh was held last night at the Coach and Horses Hotel for the purpose of making- arrangements for holding a Poultry, Bird, and Dog Show. Mir A. Tregea occupied the chair, and explained that the meeting was the outcome of a former one, when an association of bird and dog fanciers was formed, and that a sub cammittee had since revised the schedule for ths intended Show. The minutes were read by the Secretary, Mr Barl trop, and confirmed, after which the sc_sdu. c of rules as agreed upon were adopted. It was deoided to hold the Show on Friday and Saturday, the 16th and 17th November, the entries to close on the 12th of that month! The Show will be held in the Drill Shsd, Col. Pitt having kindly granted its use for the purpose. It was decided to grant a donation to the Band Fund, Fifty _iei^Lb?rß ' family tickets were ordered to be printed, and a promise was made by those present to canvass for members, Some formal business concluded the meeting.
