Wanganui. There is beautiful weather and a large attendance. Hurdles — Dusk, 1 ; Denbigh, 2 ; Patent Safety, 3. Druid and Parotawa also started. Dusk led all the way, and won by seven lengths ; Druid, the most dangerous opponent, fell at the last hurdle when only a length behind. Time, 4 mins. 20 sees. Dividend : Inside, £13 2s ; outside, £11 15s. Sapling Stakes— Cremorne, 1; Tornado, 2; Confident filly, 3. Tornado led to the siraighfc, when Cremorne came with a rush and won rather easily by a length and a half. Time, lmin 21j3ecs. Dividends, £1 16s and £1 14s.
