Sir — In the " notices to correspondents " in this morning's Colonist, I sec that one "Luuakin" is told : 'The subject of your letter is treated in a far more gentlemanly spirit by •P. Pepper " in the present issue." Haying read the lett-.r of "P. Pepper," in which the " fair more gentlemanly spirit " is said to be displayed? I feel a consuming desiro to peruße that of "Lumkln," in which it is wanting. I am sure it would prove a rich, Jf iiot a rare treat, to your contemporary*} readers.— l am, &c,
