To this Editor of the Nelson Evening Mail
Sir— -Observing in a paragraph iv the Nelson Examiner of to-day's date that a programme of the Races has been already decided upon, I should like to ask on whose authority this has been done, as no meeting 6f the Turf Club has been called. JNo doabt this has been overlooked by certain euergetic persons who have taken the responsibility Of making the necessary arrangements on their own shoulders, but I would suggest that it might prove more satisfactory to the public if a programme were 'sketched' at a geueral meeting of the Club. Yours, &c, A Member of the Turf Club. Nelson, Feb. 17, 1869. wmmmmmma—a^mma»M^mmma*am^mmmm*'mmmm*m*m*mmmm^—amt^M—^mmmmmammnmmß
