Three N.Z. Centuries Against Durham
LONDON, Thu. (11.30 a.m.).—'The New Zealand batsmen showed what Ihey could do against mediocre bowling when they hit up 3 for 417 declared fn the first innings against Durham at Sunderland. Scott, Smith and Mooney scored centuries and 400 c&me up in just over four hours. Rabone partnered Scott in giving the New Zealanders a good start with an opening stand of 138. Smith and Mooney especially thrilled the crowd when they came together, adding an unbeaten 218 duns in 122 minutes. Mooney hit 15 boundaries and Smith 14.
