Return Performance By Noted Pianist
KAITAIA, Sat. (Sp.L—At the request of the Kaitaia Community Arts Service, Peter Cooper, Well-known concert pianist, will stage a return performance here on November 22. This arrangement was adopted by the CAS, at a meeting on Thursday night. Short-notice plans for his previous recital a few weeks ago resulted in a disappointingly smbll house. Much improved support is anticipated for the coming visit, as Mr Cooper provided one of the finest CAS programmes yet staged in Kaitaia. The meeting also discussed preliminary arrangements for a combined social evening and entertainment in conjunction with the Kaitaia Orchestral and Dramatic Societies and a sub-com-mittee was appointed to discuss this proposal with the two sister organisations.
