No Games Holidays
AUCKLAND, Thu. (P.A.)— School children will not have a holiday during the Empire Games in February, the Auckland Education Board decided yesterday. The chairman (Mr G. K. Hamilton) said it was found that most sports of interest to children would either be held in the evenings or on Saturdays. However, “school journeys” could be made to the Games.
