PERSONAL
Mr A. B. Dixon, a young returned serviceman who served with the Royal New Zealand Air Force, and who unsuccessfully contested the Rodney seat at the last election, has been chosen as the Labour Party candidate for Otahuhu. Mr C. R. Petrie, the sitting Labour member, who had a majority of 220 at the last election, is retiring.
