Franco - Spanish Trade Agreement
MADRID, Wed, (1 p.m.).—The Spanish Foreign Ministry today . confirmed that agreement had been reached between Spanish and French banks for opening credits in France to buy industrial machinery for Spain. The agreement was signed in Pai’is on July 8.
Reuters adds that this specific confirmation followed reports received from Madrid yesterday that the French Foreign Office and Finance Ministry had denied that a credit had been granted to Spain.
