No Sabotage In KLM Plane Crash

BOMBAY, Wed. (2 p.m.)— There was absolutely no ground for suspicion of sabotage in the Royal Dutch KLM plane which crashed near Bombay yesterday, causing 45 deaths, said Mi’ A. G. Hardy, KLM public relations officer for India and the Far East. The remains of five of the American journalists who died in the disaster were consumed tonight by lOft-high flames at a brief ceremony in a Hindu “burning ghat.” The ashes will be sent to relatives in the United States at the request of the Secretary of State (Mr Acheson).
