Naval Air Training
WELLINGTON Wed. (P.A.).—New Zealand flying men who are interested in naval aviation are unlikely to benefit directly from recent acquisition of an aircraft carrier by the Royal Australian Navy.
The Minister of Defence (Mr Jones) said today that no proposals had been considered so far by the Government for training New Zealand flying personnel aboard the Australian vessel. “I take it the Australians will be able to recruit sufficient men in their own country to man their aircraft carrier,” __ . _ -
