Germans Have Not Changed
LONDON, Sun. (10 a.m.)—The retiring German chief of denazification, Hubert Teitelbaum, told the British United Press correspondent in Bremen that denazification had not changed the Germans very much. “Sixty to 80 per cent of the higher public offices are held by Germans who had them before and were cleared by denazification trials,” he said. “Our denazification policy should not be allowed to be just a whitewash."
