LONDON.—-Miners at Whit&irn e o¥l ier y, South Shields, will meet on Sunday to discuss a claim for £12,000 believe the National Coal Board is going to Blake against them for coal lost through their 16-day strike last month, says the Sails Telegraph. It has been estimated that 25.000 tons of coal were lost through the strike. A miners’ official said the board had informed the miners that a claim of £ll/7/- a man would probably be made. The claim would affect all workers over 18 involved in the strike. * » *
