Indonesia And India
BATAVIA, Mon. (11 a.m.) —President Soekarno has been invited by the Prime Minister of India (Mr Nehru) to visit India to tighten the bonds of friendship between the two countries, says an Antara News Agency report from Jogjakarta. Observers in Batavia believe the invitation follows the recent Republican move to establish closer relations with other Asian countries, as political negotiations with the Dutch reached a crucial stage in the informal talks with the Netherlands Cabinet delegation in Jogjakarta.
