Work Hard But Still Have Time
BRISBANE, Sat. (11.30 a.m.)—Lady Freyberg is astonished at . the way Australian women who work so hard in their own homes can yet make time to work in women’s organisations to which they devote themselves. Lady Freyberg was the guest of the National Council of Women of Queensland.
She said she was particularly impressed by the welfare organisation which helped young mothers. The drawing together of New Zealand and Australia was one of the most important contributions that could be made to the welfare of the British Commonwealth of Nations in the troublous times through which it was passing.
Lady Freyberg was made an honorary member of the Queensland Country Women's Association.
