Army Appointment -
WELLINGTON, Fri. (P.A.)—Lieut.Colonel J. D. Armstrong, assistant adju-tant-general, Army Headquarters, has been appointed commander of Area 5, Wellington, in succession to Colonel D. T. Maxwell, who has been appointed New Zealand military liaison officer at Melbourne.
Colonel Armstrong is to be succeeded as assistant adjutant-general by Lieut.-Colonel W. D. McKinnon, who will shortly return from England where he has been attending a course at the Joint Services Staff College.
