A New Zealander who gained his degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the age of 24, arrived in Wellington yesterday from England on the Tamaroa. He is Dr F. M. Todd, formerly junior lecturer at Victoria University College. He took his Ph.D. degree in English at London University this year.
