Tornado Damage May Be Less
AUCKLAND, Mon. (P.A.).—Competent authorities, it is understood, estimate that the loss from the tornado in Frankton and Hamilton may be much less than £1,000,000 as at first stated. Some believe that less than £300,000 will cover the damage. Amazing progress with the restoration was made during the week-end by 300 workmen, au(d hundreds of volunteers.
