RULER AGAIN FOR SIX DAYS
LONDON, Sun. (10 a.m.)—Queen Wilhelmina, who has been in retirement since May 13 owing to ill-health, will tomorrow again become constitutional head of the Netherlands for six days to celebrate her 68th birthday and golden jubilee on August 31. Queen. Wilhelmina will officially abdicate on September 4. The three main canals, the main streets of Amsterdam and the Palace Square have been festooned with 250,000 lights and garlanded with flowers and tinkling bells.
Gifts to the Queen have arrived from people in every walk of life.
